Food & Nutrition – Racine

RKCAA is the Emergency Recipient Agency (ERA) which provides state commodities, administrated through the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services, in Racine and Kenosha counties through the TEFAP and CSFP programs. In addition, RKCAA serves as the clearinghouse for the Holiday Food Basket Program again this year.

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

TEFAP is a Federal program that helps supplement the diets of income eligible Americans, including elderly people, by providing them with emergency food and nutrition assistance at no cost.

Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CFSP)

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) offers free, nutritious foods to low-income seniors aged 60 years and older.

Holiday Food Basket Distribution

The Racine Kenosha Community Action Agency, Inc. (RKCAA) will serve as the clearinghouse for the Holiday Food Basket Program again this year. We will begin taking applications for this year’s baskets on a date to be determined.
